very simple interface - how to?
« on: October 10, 2002, 05:17:17 pm »

I'm looking to create a VERY simple interface
for MJ8 for my Dad to use. The only needed
options are: Rip a CD / playback of ripped
cd's / add or choose a web stream. MJ8 is
great - a huge number of options, and that is
the problem - too much going on. I use the
following languages: WSH, VBS, ASP, JS, misc
others (foxpro, etc...) What is the best way
to go about creating the above? Did someone
else already do this? I'm I recreating the Wheel
here?

Thanks.

Well, Hairstyle in version 9 is our new "simplified" interface system.  It's mostly for remotes / AVPC's, but it may be parent friendly too  ;D

It's still in development, but maybe give it a look and lend some design advice / ideas.

Thanks.
