Query from new user: Nomad Jukebox 3
« on: November 17, 2003, 09:13:58 pm »

Howdy,

Just got a new Nomad Jukebox 3.

I'm using (latest build) 9.1.306 of MC.

I notice that the jukebox comes with a bunch of music tracks which are "locked" in the player.

Neither the Creative software, nor the MC plugin seems to be able to retrieve these locked tracks to my PC. (Well MC's plugin retrieves em, but they are 0kb in length)

Is this normal?
Is there some sneaky way around this?
Am I some sort of recycled plastic creature who only thinks he is human?

Duh!

I always resist the urge to read manuals / instructions etc.

Found some info buried in the doc files about copyright restrictions not allowing the locked tracks to be copied off the jukebox.

Problem solved...
