MPC files created with MJB, get an error when trying to prosses them for replay gain.
The Error window reads:  
ERROR: Broken frame encountered. Please re-encode or re-download the file (if possible).
After six times clicking the OK of that warning, It claculates the right replay gain.
MP3 files don't exibite this errarta.

This happen more often when MJB plays back songs during the gain calculation.
I get the error window when the song shows up as 99% processed. After clicking the OK a few times mjb manages to write the replay gain in to the tag and continues on.

Have you tried re-encoding the file to see what happens?  Also, are you possibly tagging your MPCs with ID3 instead of the preferred APE tags?  This can be configured in the MPC input plug-in using the Plug-In Manager.

Settings/Plug-in Manager/expand the the list of Input plug-ins and choose MPC Plug-in/click the Configure button/under Tagging Specification choose APE 1.0

Also, for what it's worth, I've also always had various ongoing "issues" using MPC in MJ.  For some reason MJ doesn't seem to handle MPCs with the same stability that it does the other formats.
