Radio problems
« on: October 18, 2003, 05:24:11 am »

For the first time, I thought I'd check out some radio with MC.

It's not happening.

Did a search for rock stations, picked a virgin one, clicked play and it started playing my library.
Went to radiocom which played for a few seconds and then sounded like a CD that's stuck.
Went back to virgin - started playing radiocom.
Checked out half a dozen more stations, all started playing for a few seconds and then sounded like a stuck CD.

Is this everyone's experience or am I not doing something right, maybe with my settings or something?

Cheers.

I dont have an answer for you but a radio problem myself. When I try adding radio stations (ie; any KCRW mp3 broadcasts), if i use a stream url such as http://64.236.34.161:80/stream/1038 the station works fine but if the stream url looks like http://205.188.234.38:8070 it gives me an error. Any ideas why?

Guess that port 8070 is blocked by your firewall
