eMusic Streams Lock Up MC
« on: November 10, 2003, 10:43:54 pm »

I am not sure why, but when I click the 30 Second stream preiviews on the eMusic site, unless I click "stop" before the stream completes, Media Center locks up hard.  My whole system sometimes needs to be rebooted.  If I kill the MC process in time, everything works...if I don't, task manager won't even come up and I need to hit reset.

This has happened with the last several releases...I assumed it was my PC.  Well, I just did a clean install and it is still happening.  The streams work fine in both Winamp and Windows MediaPlayer 9.

Ideas?

Nope.  Still doesn't work.  Judging by the number of responses to this thread, either a) this happens to almost nobody, or b) nobody cares.

I've reassociated Windows Media Player with streaming files.  Bummer.
