Ratings in Library
« on: November 02, 2003, 04:31:01 pm »

I think there should be an option somwhere that lets you store the rating in the tag or in the library. my wife and i have 2 separate libraries and have different opinions on ratings and would like to have them separate. anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Tools> Options> Tree & View Settings> Rating> Edit> uncheck Store In File Tags where possible.

Or to keep both the ratings stored inside the files:

Add a new field for your wife's ratings.  Set it up as Integer with values 1;2;3;4;5.  The only snag is that you won't be able to use the graphical ratings icons with this but you can add the column to the view and type in a numeric value.
