m4p playback and lack of crossfade
« on: October 23, 2003, 01:30:37 pm »

Hello:

Playback, bitrates, etc. look and sound good now on MC with the iTunes m4ps I've purchased so far. I'm wondering now, is there something with QuickTime that prevents MC from applying crossfade settings? The m4ps don't crossfade between themselves.

At first, I thought it could have been an incompatability between crossfading different formats, but the DRM protected wmv files I have work fine among themselves and vanilla mp3s.

It seems iTunes' m4ps don't get along and play well with other children. Any ideas or I'm I doing something wrong? And don't say my problem was dealing with ITMS in the first place;-) I love my iPod.

Yes. Crossfading is not possible with Quicktime.

Your problem really is dealing with ITMS in the first place  :D Just kidding about the last part.
