I use MC 9.1 with NetRemote. In NetRemote I have buttons defined which call up MC smartlists. The smartlist itself is defined as a certain genre + time limit 180 min + random. When I call up the list in MC, it is indeed random.

Now comes the strange bit: When I call up the list through NetRemote I always have the first 2 or 3 titles coming from the same album, mostly an album which will start with a number or "A". In addition the playlist will contain many titles from the same album one after the other. So you can't really speak of randomness here anymore.

Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Got me stumped . . although that is not hard to do    

heck I couldn't even get netremote to run, so you are already one up
