Annoying alert playing playlists via mjextman.exe
« on: October 24, 2003, 06:03:15 pm »

I'm hooking up a girder command to queue up a playlist using the following command:
mjextman.exe /PlayReplace treepath=Playlists\test 1

If this command is run twice quickly, I get an error from MC: "Please select file(s) to play.".  (Note that "quickly" is relative - if the command is a complicated smartlist, the timing is just before the first song starts to play, which may be a few seconds.)

This is really annoying - any chance that either the dialog could be eliminated if the command is coming from mjextman or some other tweak?  Having dialogs come up when using a remote is brutal...

Thanks!

I would have to agree as I get these too.

Bump

Now that I have my remote set up to switch playlists using this command, I am getting this alert all the time and it is driving me crazy (since I actually have to get my keyboard out to fix it, since it doesn't even have focus when I am viewing a track info page, which is the normal state of my machine).

JRiver: Is there ANYTHING that can be done for this?

Thanks!
