I would like to know if there is a way I can create a CD consisting of only the first minute of 60 songs. (hence a power hour CD) For those of you who don't know what power hour is, it's a drinking game, where you drink a shot of beer every minute for 60 minutes. It would make putting the CD together much easier.
Any help would be great, or maybe even a plugin.

That would ROCk!

It would definitely improve power hours.  Though, it would be difficult for the centry club (100 shots in 100 minutes).  I guess you could just use MC on a computer with a playlist to generate it.  Maybe you could use KingSparta's Party sampler.  I don't remember whether or not it has an adjustable setting for the length of each song being played.

It would be good to be able to put in a chime inbetween each song.  (Though, you could probably use the Now Playing popup plug-in to do that.)

I guess you could bring your computer to the party and use kingsparta's party sampler plug-in. On second thoughts, I guess I wouldn't like too much the idea of having my laptop around people while they play this game. Actually, I think using a 60min tape would add some fun, there could be a special event, some sort of half-time challenge, when you need to turn the tape over.

I've given it some more thoughts cause your power hour game seems to hold tremendous potential if put in music. What about combining it with the musical chairs game? That would require having MC playing music for a number of seconds set withing a certain range, say 30 to 60 sec. Then MC would pause for about 10 secs so that the looser can take his shot and the others have a good laugh. Then it starts all over again for 60 min.

Now, I challenge programmers around here to write a plug-in that would allow us to play the 'power musical chairs hour' game...
