COVER ART NOT SHOWING
« on: September 24, 2003, 05:42:20 pm »

I just installed the PLUS version and I am having trouble with trying to get the album's cover art to display. When I follow the directions:going to the albums properties, choosing tools and then search for cover art....it never finds it (it found one album out of 15). I know that the cover art is out there because Windows Media PLayer found it.

PLEASE HELP

I have MJ 8.0.388 and I can't get any cover art to download either. I've reinstalled with no results. What do I need to do to get cover art to d/l?

Thanks, KingSparta!  I'll give the upgrade a shot. But I'm remembering having done that a while back (to ver 399) and after I upgraded, the app would only run for about 10 seconds and then close automatically (on Win2k SP4)! I had another post here somewhere about that but it never was answered so I went back to 388.  I'll try it again and get back to you if 399 doesn't work well!

many people use this version without problems like above.

Well, I guess I'm special.  I installed 399, started it to retrieve covers (which it DID start doing), it got about a minute into my 900 songs and just quit! There was an icon still in the system tray but moving my mouse over it made it disappear.  I then tried killing all the apps running in the background so that I ended up with nothing in the task manager applications. MJ ran the cover search for about a minute then quit again.

Any ideas?
