Ripper stops listing song titles after trk 10
« on: October 27, 2003, 10:55:46 pm »

The last few rips, I have noticed that after listing the trk titles though track 10, the folowing tracks are listed by number with no song title: "track 11","track 12", etc. This seems to be new behavior. Is this a bug?

I'm running MC 9.0 so I know there's not going to be  a fix, but I am curious.

BTW: Here's another copy protected album: Jefferson Starship: Across The Sea Of Suns ('03). Does nothing in either of my CDRs or my external CD/DVD player and has the following WARNING: Unauthorized duplication is a violation of the law and it takes the food from our children's mouths.

How many CD's did this happen on? It's probably just that the entry in YADB for that CD is incorrect and doesn't contain all the tracks.

It happened with the last twenty CDs I ripped. 4 of them had more thn 10 songs. 3 of 4 listed anything over 10 as track "n".

I think you may be right about YADB. I reripped those 3 with MMJB and all the tracks filled in correctly.(I still used the MC rips and just filled in the missing info).

Could YADB be limited to 10 tracks? It just seems kind of odd.

Could you give me the album and artist name for one of the CD's that didn't work correctly? I have many CD's with over 10 tracks that list correctly, so there must be another problem.

The last four albums were: Train: Drops Of Jupiter, Jefferson Airplane: Bark, Santana: Supernatural, Evenescence: Fallen.

All four had no track names after track 10,(other than "track 11" etc.).

It may be a problem with the 9.0 version. I just tried "Drops of Jupiter" on 9.1 and it got all 11 tracks correctly. I would recommend updating to 9.1.
