Mac iPod + XPlay + Media Jukebox?
« on: December 16, 2002, 02:43:28 pm »

Is it possible to use a Macintish iPod with XPlay and Media Jukebox? I have XPlay installed and working just fine, and I tried the iPod plugin, but I don't see any interface for dealing with the iPod.

I did see the right click menu on a song to send it to a device, but that didn't appear to do anything.

... I take that back. I found the iPod (as drive F:) in the tree, and clicked the Update button. It copied the files into the root directory of the iPod, which obviously doesn't work. It would be nice if I could just drag from MJ to XPlay, as if it were explorer. I think XPlay will take just about any drag and drop operation that acts like explorer.

Media Jukebox is not designed to work with XPlay.  We do work well for Windows formatted iPods and there may be a time where we support iPods formatted for Macintosh, but this is not currently supported.
