I've never seen Windows not work after hibernation. I use hibernation extensively, in many computers (one in my truck; hibernates automajically every time I turn off the truck). I also use several different sound and display adapters and different configurations of adapter drivers. I'm running XP SP1 on most machines, but still Win2K on some.
But then again, MC doesn't hang on me after Windows returns from a hibernation either.
