copy cd-room ?
« on: November 26, 2003, 04:18:43 pm »

I got a very expensive cd-room .
With 500 pages of writing - hundreds and hundreds of pictures- video et mp3 on it.

I would like to do two things :

-First a copy of the cd to keep as back-up
-Copy part of it - texts , video and mp3 - to my hard drive.

How to do it?

Listening to: 'Life's Greatest Fool' from 'No Other' by 'Gene Clark' on Media Center 9.1

I think for the back-up copy I'd tend to use either CloneCD or my Plextools Pro . . . or Nero even seems to do pretty good on cloning a disk.

As far as the 'rip's to your hard drive I would play around and see what could read which files and go from there.  I have no experience with the type of disks of which you speak.

Thank you.

I found an easy way to put video and mp3 on my hard drive : they just tell you how to do it when you browse the cd !

Will make a copy with Nero
