A little nit....but would like to replace my track # scheme by preceding the single digits with a 0 in the tags.

is this possilbe ?

i notice a search & replace but dont know how to stop mc from doing 010 when mc should leave 2 digit track numbers as is.

You could go in and select your whole media library and then go to the field with "Track #" and have it sort it in numerical order.  Then go in and select all the "1" tracks since they will be in a group now (select one..then scroll down to the last "1" track in group and hit SHIFT key while clicking track to select entire group of "1" tracks). Then use the Search and Replace to change "1" to "01" since it will only do on the highlighted tracks.  Then go to the "2" group and do the same procedure...etc...etc.  Not as quick as a "all in one" search and replace but you would only need to do it 9 times for each group of tracks.
