Image tags - People, Places, Events, multiple entries
« on: November 30, 2003, 05:42:42 am »

Can a single image have multiple entries in one of these fields?
I'd like to tag my images such that each person in the picture is listed.  Now I can search etc by one person and it'll show pics where they are not the only person featured.

List the people in the notes field.

Then create a smartlist for that person, searching for their name in the notes field.

e.g. [notes]=dave would list all images with Dave in.

People, Places, and Events are all fields capable of storing multiple entries.

If you're using Tagging Mode, it's easy. Just go to the People/Places/Events View Scheme, select the pictures you want to work with, enter Tagging Mode, and check the appropriate boxes.

If you're not using Tagging Mode, then seperate entries with semicolons. IE. Mom;Dad;Jack the Ripper;Bugs Bunny etc.
