Last summer appeared some threads trying to improve MC ease of use. It was before 9.1 release, and the goal was to detect and fix bugs, and to positionate MC into a broader market by improving ease of use.
Jim H started the thread "Any Ease of Use Suggestions?" saying:
We're looking for ideas that would eliminate a step or a mouse click, for example.
It was an interesting thread (

A little later, on the thread "Here Comes the Bride" Jim H asked:
Why should this lady not sail now?
It was also interesting:

People (not just me) asked for toolbar buttons for everything you can think of. And the more obvious ones were the "library tools". I find my self surfing into deep menus to accomplish common and repetitive tasks as:
-Fill Poperties From Filename...
-Rename Files From Properties...
-Fill Track Numbers from List Order
-Lookup Track Info From YADB
-Submit Track Info To YADB
-Update Tags (from library)
-Update Library (from tags)
-Convert Format
-Quick Find In File /Cover Art Directory
-Get From Internet...
-Get From Scanner (if I had one...)
-Remove Cover Art
Is really that hard to add buttons for common actions?
Give us buttons into the location toolbar for everything you can think of (as per summer's threads). Then no one can complain they don't have direct access to what they use most often.
Actually, I thought that threads finished with an agreement. Jimh stated:
Before we ship, we will fix Help and access to properties. We'll also add some more buttons.
Where are those buttons?
