(Okay, this may be of interest to about 3 other people besides myself, but if even one of those three other people isn't aware of this and finds this post, I'll have done my good deed for the day.)

Recently MediaFour, publishers of MacDrive (an IFS for Windows users to read/write Mac-formatted disks) released an update to said program that hooks the iPod service (installed on Windows) and allows iTunes for Windows to update Mac-formatted iPods.

The big whoop is that it also allows Media Center (tested with 9.1) to update Mac-formatted iPods. (And a nifty little freeware app called PodUtil to get songs back off the iPod.)

For anybody else like myself whose computers and external drives are a strange mix of Mac and Windows this should be welcome additional functionality.
