keeping Audio as default ?
« on: December 18, 2003, 12:23:14 pm »

Since I only use MC for music, I like to have it come up in AUDIO mode only, every time.  The new buttons in the upper right alway revert to ALL on every start up.

I have View->View Filter->Show Only Audio Files set.
View->Save View Filter Between Sessions set

But everytime I restart MC, there is Media Mode back to ALL.

Is there a way to make Media Mode sticky?

There may be a 'proper way', or not.
But I'd try going to my toolbar properties window and deleting all the catagories from the catagory toolbar setting Except Audio.
I am guessing that without them selected thay may not be available upon startup.
If this is not a functional solution, click on Reset to get them back.

Thanks, I'd already tried that (took me a bit how to figure out how to get them back).  All it did was give me the unlighted music notes (audio mode) and still required me to click it to get it active.  Thanks anyway.

Listening to: 'Here Comes the Hammer' from 'Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em' by 'MC Hammer' on Media Center 10 ;)

This is something I mentioned a few days ago in another thread.  It doesn't make any sense NOT to implement the different media options like this.
