I don't know if this has been an ongoing problem, but I've just noticed it in build 10.22.

Specifically, when playing songs with volume leveling turned on and using crossfading (aggressive) with a setting of 4 seconds, I've noticed (to my occasional jolting alarm) that if the upcoming tune is softer (necessitating a higher gain), then the last 4 seconds of the current tune will be blasted in my ears.  Of course, the opposite is also true:  if the upcoming tune volume is automatically throttled down to match the playlist volume, then the last four seconds of the current will suddenly be much quieter than normal.

Does this make sense?  And is this something that actually can be fixed?
