On line lookup info how to!
« on: January 15, 2004, 06:19:16 pm »

Seem to remember this being passed around long ago but can not find it now. When looking up cd's most show up in cddb or yabb, but I still have a large number that do not. However, they do show up in the freedb server. So how do I get that info from one ripper program into MJ? Where is it stored and can it be imported or gotten at somehow? I have used Media Player as well as Easy cd-da to get the info.
Thanks for the help.

MJ/MC appear to use CDPlayer.ini located in the c:\winnt dir. I thought EAC also used some sort of text file (maybe same one)...but no, it maintains a file called CDDB.dat located in the EAC directory. If one of the other FreeDB programs you have also writes to CDPlayer.ini, then there is hope.
