Errors when registering with CDDB

I've just loaded on my software for my MP3 player, Media Jukebox being one of them.

Unfortunately though I get as far as registering my country etc.  and then it comes up with an error message which I don't understand, see below:

Gracenote error: 110/12 User Quota Exceeded

Does anybody know what this means??

At the moment, i'm unable to rip any cd's and download anything from the internet.  Please help???!!!!!

That's a registration for Gracenote/CDDB which is no longer used by MJ.

Please ignore it and use the YADB option for CD lookups.

Have I got an old version of this then?

Everytime I try and do something, this CDDB registration box pops up and I don't know how to get rid of it.

How do I get onto the YADB registration?  Sorry, I didn't receive any instructions or a manual with this, so have no idea what i'm doing!

There is no registration required for YADB.

I was getting the same error....  Why has JRiver dropped CDDB?
There are plenty of occasions when YADB doesn't have info that CDDB has and vise-versa.  
When purchased, MJ would have access to both sites, now it doesn't.  First you guys cripple MJ8 by removing it's video capabilities (no change in price) and now this.  If you purchased MJ before v8.0.388 you get WebTV and video capabilities, If you upgrade to a later version, you lose that capability.  Hmmm... Some upgrade!

that was like almost 2 years ago they droped CDDB

you can do a search in the MJ8 forum and comup with maybe 10,000 hits on why just set the search to like 600 days.

or just update your software and Use YADB

users that kept a registered version was grand-fathered by CDDB if something happened to the registration, reinstall of windows uninstall of the program etc... would stop CDDB from working and since J river no longer has a contract with them no new users can use it.

if something happened to a users account this would then make that user a new user.

at any rate YADB in version 8 works, YADB in MC9 And MC10 is better
