setting up rules in view schemes
« on: January 19, 2004, 09:43:08 am »

i am trying to set up a rule in a view scheme so that it only includes files from my primary drive, and not from my back-up/other drives (which are also imported into my library)  i can see that i need to right click on the view scheme and go to 'edit' but then it is not clear to me where i enter the rule, and what exactly to enter.  i would be grateful for some help here,

thanks,

nick

Glad you worked it out Nick.

It's good practice though to share with others how you did it.  There's nothing worse than searching a forum to find someone has asked how to do exactly what you're trying to do - so you think you're on the way to the answer only to find no answer posted.  It's happened to me several times on the girder forum.   :(

The answer of course is to add a rule like [Filename]=E:\

(to include only files from the e-drive)
