Cant Rip CD's after upgrade to 9.0 Alpha
« on: November 29, 2002, 12:37:57 pm »

After upgrading to 9.0 I can't rip CD's anymore. I get the following error message: "open drive failed. Parameter is out of range" Play back is OK, but not as good as Windows Media Player. There are errors in the play back like hickups. That aside how do I get it to rip again? I am licensed for 8.0 and did the rushed upgrade thing from yhe e-mail. Is ther something else I need to do? :-[ :-[ :-[

For one thing, latest v9 is B83 (I believe) which solves problems like that. You didn't install v9 over v8, did you? If so then you need to uninstall then reinstall cleanly.

I did install 9.0 over 8.0 as the e-mail said I could. I down loaded it via the link in the e-mail and got V9.0.80. How do I get the latest version? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall along with restoring my license? That seems like a Pain. Help! Help!
