DVD / Decoders (filters)

There are a lot of people having DVD prob. with MC.

This has been ever since I can remember.

It seems to be the relationship between MC and certain Video Decoders.

So instead of MC picking up the newest Decoder on the sys. automatically,

WHY NOT LET THE USER CHOOSE THE VIDEO DECODER FROM THEIR SYS. TO USE ?

We can do it on the TV end with encoders.

Anyone else have any ideas on this matter?

ZoomPlayer lets you do this, and it's a nice feature to have.

J River is aware of this issue.  However, it doesn't seem to be a high priority item at the moment.  JimH has promised they will tackle this issue.
