MP3 Cd Writing Problems
« on: January 31, 2004, 09:59:13 am »

I have been unable to burn mp3's to a CD until a couple of weeks ago when I pleasantly discovered mj8 would finally burn data disks. So I burned a half a dozen with between 100 to 150 mp3 files on each. No problem. last week I tried to burn one with 250 files and it would stop at around 50 files and give an error message and I would have to shut down mj. I removed the files it hung on but still did it. Loaded the files to a hard disk and had no problem burning them with my hpcd creator. Any suggestions.

maybe it was one of the files triping MJ8 up, maybe another selection of 250 files may work, if so then it is a file problem.

sure MJ8 might should not crash but i do not think you will see a fix even if it is a file\mj8 problem

I get the error message, (failed to read the cache) If I start again by erasing my cdrw and try writing the cd again it may stall on a different song file. Not a big deal as I can use my other software to write the cd but just wondered if we could solve the problem.
