Is there a discrete pause function?
« on: February 02, 2004, 08:54:22 am »

I would like to be able to pause a zone that's playing, not to start playing on a zone that isn't. In other words when I press the button for a Girder pause multigroup all zones that are playing should pause, while the zones that aren't playing should not start to play. Is this possible? Stop does not cut it since it will annoy the heck out of my son if he's in the middle of a 30 minutes long chapter of an audio book and has to find out where he left off.

Thanks in advance!

From http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/DevZone/MCCommands.h :

MCC_SET_PAUSE  // [BOOL bPause (-1 toggles)]

Hope that does the trick.

Thanks a lot, Matt! I will try that.  ;D btw did you get that one about the sorting bug when choosing albums with multiple artists from IE or NetRemote via Remoteserver.dll? Thanks again!

Edit: Yes, it worked! Perfectly. Now I can push one button and put both my children's sound on pause at once when I need to say something to them in the car! (Like: Look at that weird thing to the right" when there's a McDonald's to the left...)
