Ripping mp3s?
« on: February 07, 2004, 07:40:09 am »

How do I rip a CD of mp3 files? When I try I'm told to insert an audio CD.

you can not rip a disk of mp3's, they are already ripped.

Ripping is for audio cd's

if your trying to move them from the cd to the hard drive just use the copy function, or copy them using windows explorer.

once copied to the hard drive, make sure you un-write protect them.

mp3s are data files - just copy/move as you would any data files.
