What happens if you download other plugins (i.e. display or encoder plugins)?

Firstly, thanks for the assistance.

I have tried downloading:

Creative Labs' NOMAD Jukebox / Nomad Zen - 9.0.18

This is not a driver I require, but it downloaded fine.

So assume that it's nothing to do with my PC

Brent,

What version of Media Jukebox \ Media Center are you running? If you downloaded Nomad 9.0.18, this is the plugin for Media Center, not Media Jukebox. Perhaps this is why the donwloads are failing. Be sure to go to the appropriate (Media Jukebox vs Media Center) plugin page for whatever plugins you are selecting. If the iRock plugin fails, continues to fail, please try a visualization or encoder plugin to help figure out where the problem could be.

Thanks,

Thanks for your respones.

I was under the impression that if I want to use one piece of softerware to transfer  music to either the IROCK or my IPAQ MP3, then Media Center would get me there. As I have mentioned, I was having difficulties downloading these two. I only try the IPOD driver to see if I was having problems downloading any MP3 driver, but that downloaded fine.

I will install Media Jubox and see if that helps.

Thanks Brent

Brent,

You can use Media Center for connections to these players (I would recommend it), but because you posted your problem to the Media Jukebox board, I assumed that you were running Media Jukebox.  After checking the links to those plugins on the MC plugin page, I verified that the links were indeed broken but have since fixed them.

I have been on hols, so I have just had another go.

This time the two drivers seem to download, as I get the message successfully installed.

But!

I don't see them in the dropdown devices in CD,DVD, Handheld.

Any ideas?

Regards

Brent,

What version of MJ/MC are you running and what version of the plugin. Be sure that if you have MC that you are getting Plugin version 9.0.02 and if you have MJ that you are getting the MJ plugin.

Perhaps try an uninstall and reinstall.  What version of 9?
