Music and playlist transfer problems

Hi all, sorry if this is a repeat question, I have tried searching for the answer, but I have not had any luck finding the answer.

I am using MC9.1 and an iPOD

My problems are after I transfer music to the iPOD.

All songs and albums appear on the iPOD ... which is cool, but then I try and transfer my playlists. None appear on the iPOD. I then try a sync, none appear.

Then, when I look back on the iPOD at my albums, some are missing and most of the songs are missing from each album.

However, when I use MC to browse the iPOD, it shows all songs and playlists are there.

Any ideas?
