Conversion problems
« on: February 20, 2004, 05:06:32 am »

Converting from mp3 to ogg, the ogg file doesn't contain the cover art that was in the mp3 file.  It says it's there, but it isn't.

Had similar issues in the past with other types of file conversion losing cover art but I haven't tested them with this build

Yup - I'm afraid this losing cover art on file conversion is not limited to mp3 to ogg conversions.

Just did ape to mpc conversion - same problem with the newly converted file saying the cover art is inside the file, but it isn't.

Lots of conversion problems today!

Converting from mp3 to mpc, MC is corrupting tag in converted file. Get error message "failed to update following file..."  The file plays OK but it's impossible to store file info in the file tag.

I've had this problem before and I've seen others post about it.
