I am also seeing the problems with the 3d visualizations where they won't start sometimes, and I assume this is already being addressed.
I posted a while back about a custom vis that acts wierd, and I think we pretty much determined that is was due to Hyperthreading, but not definately.
http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=19113;start=msg132526#msg132526Today I'm using the standard stereo spectrum analyzer, and it has a little pause about every 4 beats or every second or so, but it is quite regular, not random at all.
This combined with some other issues I'm having lead me to believe that I've got something wierd going on with how MC uses my resources. I don't know if it is related to Hyperthreading, or a virus scanner, or the other programs I run on a regular basis, or some setting I have selected, or something I can't really think of.
I have uninstalled MC, restarted, reinstalled, restarted, and it is still acting very 'sluggish'. I don't know what else to try. As you can see below, I have a pretty fast system, not an old PII or something that could easily be blamed. What I have 'should' be plenty to run MC, but it just seems very slow to respond to just about everything.
Any ideas/suggestions?
