MC overwrites MJ??

After downloading the latest version of MC for evaluation purposes it replaced my venerable copy of MJ leaving me with only MC! In the brief time I used MC I found it slow and cumbersome and not as effecient as MJ. I wound up uninstalling MC, then redownloading MJ. In the future, is there a way to have BOTH programs installed and running? Please help, thanks.

As far as I know , you can only have one version of MJ or MC running on one computer NOT both.
