« on: February 12, 2004, 04:47:01 pm »

Media Center 9.1.317 is available.

The latest known stable version ( 9.1.317 ) is here:
http://www.musicex.com/mediacenter/download.html

9.1.317 History:
1. Fixed: Occasionally, Media Center would show "Failed to create" message while accessing handheld devices
2. NEW: Significantly improved playback of DRM protected WMA files.

Hi,

I just upgraded to this version (was running a few version behind)
and the first what I noticed was that the "easy-search" bar or field has dissapeared fro mthe toolbar? I couldn't find a way to get it back.   :-\

Any ideas?
 ?

Thanks

Does this version of MC9 fix the problem with listening to Audible files on my iPod?

I tried to post a similiar question on the iPod support thread, but they seem more focused on the new beta.

What kind of problems are you having with audible files? Everything has been running perfectly for me.

IDSmoker,

Try this for a workaround. Initialize your iPod transfer one Audible file and then go forth and upload / sync etc. Never delete that first file, or if you do, clean iPod and readd it.

Darn it, I hoped this would fix my hang when accessing my Nomad II with winXP home.

It gets stuck still saying "loading view" and nothing happens, have to forcibly close the app.

There is still a problem when a WMDM device (I have a Rio Nitrus) is connected and MC has the device active in it's view, that when the device is disconnected an "analyzing device" loop occurs.  This error is repeatable every time...

If the device is not selected, no error occurs.  It would seem some error handling is required...

MC crashes about every tenth time or so when I db-click a moviefile (avi, mpeg). When I open MC again it plays the file without problems.

Therefore it doesnt seem like a problem with a corrupt file, as every file plays as it should, when I open MC and tries again.

This primarily happens when I dl a file, and when dl is complete, I hit
"open" in the dl dialoque.

This was also present in 9.316.

I currently have a registered version 9.1.316, I want to update to the 317, but when I check for updates, it tells me there are currently none available.
Why is this, and what is the workaround?
