Hey folks -

Haven't checked in in a long time, but I was curious if there are plans to add "watched folder" support (so that music in certain folders is automatically imported) to MJ/MC. It's kinda turned into a "can't live without" feature for me, as much as I love the product.

in MC 10 is this option in the SDK

MJFileAutomation * ImportFile(string strFilename)

Description: imports a new file into Media Center
Parameters:

strFilename: the path to the file.

Return Value: MJFileAutomation interface

if someone wanted to could create a plug-in that could allow the user to set a folder and a time to check this folder every so many seconds.

one problem with doing this is lets say you were downloading a mp3, and it was 1\2 thru, when you import all the data for this file will be based on 1\2 the file.

not sure if you use this two times it would update the info, or create a dup entry
