How to avoid CD playing to overwrite "playing now"
« on: November 23, 2002, 11:35:58 am »

Hi all,

When I insert a CD to start a ripping process, the CD starts playing and overwrites my "playing now" list. Is there any way to avoid this? Both "associate with audio CDs" and "cda playing"are unchecked in "file associations".

Thanks

Any ideas? Trying to rip a CD results in messing up my "playing now" list... therefore I cannot do both things at the same time.

Thanks for your time.

Hold the Shift key down for a 5-10 sec's after inserting CD. Temporarily disables autoplay (and PN overwrite in your case).
