Desktop Backgounds & Jimh's Next Vacation
« on: March 03, 2004, 02:30:41 pm »

Latley We Were Exposed To A Very Good Picture Of A Sun Set And it Is Currently My Backgound.

JimH normaly takes vacations On Islands and France I think.

I want Jim To Go To Japan And Take Pictures For New Backgrounds For My Computer.

1. Where Would You Like JimH To Go On His Vacation?

2. Where Would You Like Him To Go To Take Pictures For My DeskTop When He Gets There?

(It Must Be A Valid Location, On The Earth World Globe)

He Will Be Taking The Pictures On A 4 MP Camera At The Largest Setting. He Will Also Be Taking Extra Memory Sticks.

BTW: Garden Update This Weekend.

imjustagamer

i got pretty high on everest last year, before my climbing partner fell and broke his leg - which turned our summit attempt into an epic rescue mission.

i have a ton of photos, including some very good ones from about 28000 feet. i would have attched one to this message but i dont know how.

The only thing stopping me from attempting anything like that is that fact that I am scared of hights....

JimH should go to St. John, in the US Virgin Islands.  The water is the most stunningly beautiful color, and there is a great resort that is up on a boardwalk to protect the jungle beneath!   Spent a little time down there a few years back...it was spring break .... Our shots are mostly underwater as we were really into diving back then.   :)

upload them to my ftp site.

JimH is writing all this down, and he will be checking his list twice, so keep the ideas flowing.

Pictures would be nice.

does jim dive?

if so i have heard great things about an island called Amberigis Caye off the coast of Belize - theres a dive area called the blue hole (see nat geo article):

http://www.nationalgeographic.com/photography/galleries/belize/photo2.html

the diving is supposed to be incredible there.

there are resorts and huts on the island (some friends went and liked the place)

i plan to go there on vacation as soon as i can...

Yo know i don't know, But i was thinking that since he is flying we could get him to jump From a Plane and take pictures from 10,000 feet.

It would be good training, just in case he needs it

Does this mean that Jim gets to write-off his vacation as a business expense? :o
