Every time I open Media Center (even with my cable service active) - I get the message " There was an error getting the current version number... "Reason the web Site may be down or your not connected to the internet."  How can I fix this?  (I'm using 9.1) Thanks, jti

This is one of KingSpartas plug ins.  Visit www.spartasoft.com and make sure you are using the latest version.  If you are using a very old version then maybe it's not able to connect properly to his server.

Maybe you configured your firewall to prevent access to this application?  Check your firewall settings.

You could stop the plug in from running in Plug In Manager and start it again when you need to use it.
