playing quicktime movies
« on: March 20, 2004, 05:52:41 pm »

Any thoughts on why some .mov files will play video in MC9, and others only sound.  The latter will show video only if I directly open quicktime software.  I checked the file properties and they look the same, .mov.

Check the tag "Media Type". Many mov files get mistakenly imported as Audio files. You just need to change those to the media type "Video". It seems that this might be a bug and has been mentioned here a few times.
