retrieving my files
« on: March 22, 2004, 03:04:45 pm »

I find my over 8000 files (songs) I want to take out of the Media Jukebox is not avail. Export or import I wish to do without hesitation. If I wish to take the files from MJ, this is my right. How do I do this. I can with the other players?!  I want to export from MJ to a better player.  JG

They are not "in" Media Jukebox. MJ simply keeps a record in it's database of relavent data for each media file. Deleting just those records does not kill the file (unless you Shift-Delete and select "Remove from library and delete from disk?"). You're free to import your media in any app you want...different libraries in different apps can co-exist.

edit: There are no better players (except Media Center)
