Double clicking in "My Computer" view
« on: March 23, 2004, 05:43:18 am »

Is there any way to use the normal file associations in the "My Computer" view? E.g. fire up Word when I double click a .doc file.

In the next build of MC, Send To > External > Default Editor will use 'Open' instead of 'Edit' if no editor is registered for the file.

I've just tried the latest build  - it's just what I wanted!  The quality of service here is astonishing - I posted a bug report and two feature requests at lunchtime. It's less than 12 hours later and the bug and 1 request have been sorted.  Outstanding!
