CAN I USE BOTH 9.1 AND THE NEW 10.

HELLO AND A GOOD DAY.

I HAD THE 9. ?. MEDIA CENTER..

JUST DOWNLOADED  THE 10. ( I LOVE IT )

QUESTION..

CAN I GO BACK AND DOWNLOAD ?.  THE OLD ?.  9. ?
TO USE FOR ANOTHER PLAYER ?.

WITHOUT !.  OVERWRITING..  THE NEW 10 ?.

You can only have 1 version on the computer at once.
If you have 9 then load 10, your 9 is gone.
And vice versa.

Why would you ever want to go back to 9?

When i asked the same question i got the same negative respond.  :(
But overwritting one instal with the other only takes 30 seconds, so it's not that big of a deal IMO.

To imjustagamer:

One reason having both installed could be of interest is for skinners. It would be easier to switch back and forth to test the skin on both platforms.

Anyway, since 1.10 is coming out next week, this will be obsolete soon. :)

Hello.. and thank you for your quick responce..

I just wanted to use the OLD..9.?  for a set of music files.. i did not want to put into the 10 ?. player..

Rather than run two different versions, you can set up seperate libraries for the different sets of music and keep them seperate that way.
