question on finding old posts
« on: March 23, 2004, 01:01:21 pm »

Is there a way for me to easily find a post (and the replies) I made on here a few months ago (but I have no idea when it was, sadly) - maybe by entering my username somewhere?  I was dumb and ignored part of an answer to a question (rather, didn't save the info given), and now I realize I NEED that info.

Thanks!

By the way - I did try to search the old posts, but it didn't find anything - does that mean it's just too old to be on here?

Extend the date range when you search.

Edit -- I just changed the default to 365 days.

...and photos, too.

Here's one of either Jim or the King (according to reliable sources) that I dug out of the archives...

Glasses make it unclear exactly who it is and I'm sure neither will claim it. That graphic to the right of the shadow is some unknown 60's symbol (cult maybe?)

You can see all your posts by using the Search function.

When you go to Search, under Set Search Parameters you can search By User.
Put your username in there.  Make sure the max age is 'early' enough.
