JimH talking here....

I'm sorry, Zev, but I don't want the boards to be used to build (even more) animosity toward the RIAA.  While I agree that their tactics have been heavy-handed, they are a legitimate music industry organization representing companies who have legitimate interests in protecting their intellectual property.

A better course of action for our community is to suggest changes that they might consider.

I would tactfully suggest that it would be better if the "intellectual property" they were protecting was the artist's and writer's. It's not . Ask artists and writers.

Jim,

Have you read the comments that people place at download.com evaluating MC? Well, there is an user there that said;
" JRiver is infamous for its censorship in their forums".

I have being using different forums for a while now and I have to say that I agree with that user.

But its Jim's board !!!

If they are in a deal with the music industry, any disparaging comments towards the RIAA would not look good for JRiver. Especially if it has anything to do with the big deal !!

I dont miss the ranting & raving about the RIAA here, its literally everywhere else.

Concerning  the link removed.

It is ok.
It was done as it has to be.
With a comment  saying that post was edited and why.
So , nothing to say.

So , go to wonder on the  big deal.

Or , i think i know.
