Recently Imported not working

Can someone help me with this?
I am using Media Jukebox 7.1 at work and whenever I import songs to the hard drive from cd they randomly do not show up in the Recently Imported list. The list will just be empty.
I tried upgrading to the latest version but all it does is lock my system up everytime I open it and try to use it. Version 7.1 works just fine in every way except the Recently Imported list problem.

when you cant find them under recently imported can you still find them via other means in MC? i know its a work around but i would then just search for them by date imported/created or by name

Yeah, I found that out however it is not me that uses it on a regular basis so I was trying to make it as simple as I could for the others. Thank you! They may just have to do it that way whether they like it or not.
