Party Mode allows you to protect your library while others are using the program. It grants users full, non-destructive and non-intrusive use of the program* by allowing them to do just about anything except permanently saving or removing information from your library.

*If you have Access Control enabled, it applies, and will hide content in Party Mode.

To switch to party mode, go to View on the Menu bar and select Party Mode. To switch back to normal mode, uncheck "Party Mode" from the View menu.

When you switch back to normal mode, all temporary settings and changes that occurred while in party mode are replaced by your original settings.

Forget your password?

If you forget your password you can clear it in the Party Mode password dialog by double clicking on the "Man wearing the lampshade" image while holding down the Ctrl and Shift keys on your keyboard.

Access Control

Access Control is a password-protected filtering system. When enabled, it will hide (or only show) files based on a smartlist you create. To open Access Control go to View > Access Control
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Party Mode will allow users full rights to anything, But when they kill all the info, you can just turn part mode off and nothing was saved...

Access Control will allow a user access to a smartlist only, Most likely changes made here will be kept.
