I looked in the help, but found no mention of what 'Set Volume Upload Adjustment' (from the ipod device popup menu) does.  Is this similar to iTunes' 'Volume Adjustment' property?  Similar to EuPod?  Both?

If it's functionaly the same as the iTunes 'Volume Adjustment', then I vote that you be able to set different volume adjustments for different file types.  The reason is that I use MP3Gain on mp3s, but AFAIK, no equivalent tool exists for AAC files, so I'd like to be able to set the Volume Adjustment to 40% for mp3s and 10% for AAC files.
