Hi,

If I try to use:

mjextman.exe /Play http://69.13.65.118:8000

Media Center pops up a error message saying:

Please select file(s) to play

Reading the documentation at the J River site mentions that you can use a URL instead of a filename.

Does anybody know if I need to do anything special with the forward slashes like you do with Perl?

Try
mjextman.exe /Play http://69.13.65.118:8000/listen.pls

As a general rule, try pasting the URL into your browser. If it loads a web page, that URL probably won't work in MC. If it automatically runs MC, the URL may work directly.

adding listen.pls at the end worked!
