Playlists on iPod
« on: September 14, 2004, 09:16:20 am »

Sorry for the faq, but I'd really like to know what the plan is with playlists and iPods.
I'd also like to know any workarounds that people have come up with, other than On-The-Go.
Listening to an album at a time on a busy train in London, and having to retrieve, find a new album, and stick back in pocket is becoming a bit of a pain.

Now, I'd also like to say that MediaCenter is absolutely superb. I spent a long time battling with Media Player (their library sucks), iTunes (nasty UI and too many oddities) and various others. When I found MC10 I was as happy as larry because:
It can effortlessly absorb my tunes (150Gb),
It provides tag maintenance capabilities that i thought only existed in tagscanner.
It provides  mind bending search capabilities

So I'm sticking with it, but how do I get playlists on the iPod?

hice,

In MC10, right click on your iPod drive letter (under Drives and Devices) and select 'Synchronization'. This will allow you to synchronize any playlists you create in MC to your iPod.
